MOUNTAIN BIKE MAPS

Tower Park Directions: Take I-471 to Rt. 27 Southeast. Left on Rt. 446. Left on South Fort Thomas Ave. Right on 446 again. Quick Left in to Tower Park. The trail heads are all behind the Veterans Hospital. Many of the trails start behind the Tennis Courts and the Amphitheater.

 

Caesar Creek State Park. Directions:  From Cincinnati, Ohio:
I-71 North to State Route 73. Turn Left on State Route 73, park entrance is approximately 6 miles on the right. Campground: Right on State Route 73, left on State Route 380, left on Center Road.

East Fork Lake is 25 miles east of Cincinnati. From Cincinnati, OH take I-471 South into Kentucky to I-275 East. I-275 East to Exit #65, Beechmont Avenue East - Amelia or Exit #63. East Batavia (campground). Come East 11 miles and follow signs. The trails are just past the park office.

Cave Run Lake at the Dam is 120 miles south east of Cincinnati. From Cincinnati take the AA { Ky Rt 9} to Mayseville Ky. From Mayseville continue south on {Ky Rt. 11} In Flemingsburg take the bypass to (Ky. Rt. 32} south to Morehead Ky. Follow Rt 32 through Morehead under I64 until you come to {Ky Rt. 60} Turn right and follow {Ky Rt 60} West to {ky Rt 801} turn left and follow the signs to the Dam. Drive across the Dam and park at Stoney Cove Recreation Area. The trail head is just up the hill on the left of the gravel road. The Caney Loop is a good trail for beginners to intermidiate riders. At 6.2 miles in length if you like you can total out around 10 miles by doing the loop that takes the Sheltowee Trace section back to the trail head. When entering the Caney Loop to the left side of the gravel road at the top of the hill the Sheltowee Trace Trail will be to your right. You can ride the Sheltowee until your hearts content. Please be friendly to the Horse back Riders and get completely off the trail and be in a stationary position when the Horses are approaching as not to spook them. Also take off your glasses as Horses like to be able to see your eyes when they look at you.
